I just saw a very old repeat on 24 hours in A&E, and saw Jason and his dear friend Matthew. I was struck, firstly by their lovely friendship, everyone needs friends like that. I was also deeply saddened by Jason's story about his parents. He was a stranger to me, yet I was touched by how kind and lovely he was, despite all the tragedy he suffered. I hope Matthew is OK, and I send him my heartfelt condolences for his loss. I was so shocked when the notice came up at the end of the programme, I wanted to simply pay my respects.
